Point d'arrêt

This is our duelling point d'arrêt about which we are still making some decisions.  Some want a standard tie on tip which will allow the practitioner to mount the points to their favorite blade, others are more in favor of a screw on tip that will make use of electric blades or indeed the Leon Paul steam blade with detachable dummy tip.  As we work toward the release of this product we want to hear from you.  Do you want the tip to be detachable? What would you like to see used as the starting point for blades? What length do you want? Are you looking for something that handles more like a modern sport foil or a smallsword? How important is point of balance to you and where would you like it?

We have thus far decided on a custom cord wrap grip over a synthetic French foil core, a bilobic guard and a cylindrical finnial shaped pommel.  The hilt furniture will be available in both brass and German silver, and the cost... well, were starting off at £140 each or £240 for a pair.
